Just trust Donald Trump to do what is best for the average American. His tariffs are working, prices are coming down, and great jobs are coming back to the states. He will also make healthcare affordable again.

You’re not making deals with politicians either.

50 year mortgages and $2,000 checks aren't 'deal making' it is fricking MAGA stupidity. Again - Trump trolls all week on Twitter and you guys eat it up and want more I dare to criticize your cult leader and I am called a 'Troll'

Tell me how that makes any sense?

I mean, y'all can pretend this isnt the case, but MAGA is as tight a bubble as the Progressive female bubble.

Things arent going like the MAGA influencers are telling y'all.

Who are these MAGA influencers you speak of?

Here’s a neat trick, try thinking for yourself. Look at the history of what Trump has done versus what the media claims he’s doing. I’m guessing it’s about a 90% difference because the media lies.

I do. Which is why I realize MAGA is a progressive Trojan Horse.

The entire MAGA mythology is just that. "Hope and change." Mainly hope.

Do you really believe banks would prefer a 50 year mortgage over 30, 20, or 15 year mortgage?

ETA: Any down voters want to answer the question?

I refuse to believe this is a real question.

Why?

A longer mortgage increases Buyout and Prepayment risk. The banks could see an increase in origination fees but that's about it. The homeowners will still refinance or sell within 7 to 10 years. 50 year mortgages would not big the big money maker for banks people think would be.

Here are a few reasons why:

1. Total amount of interest paid over the life of the loan is significantly higher.

2. Collateral. Long-term loans usually involve collateral. The longer the term, the greater the chance the borrower defaults and the lender collects.

3. Banks can map out their future cash flow longer when they have established long-term fixed income.

4. Long-term established relationships between lender and borrower allow banks more time to cross sell other services.
