She should know. She herself is in the bible. God sent her to prevent Jonah from drowning.

This part is utter nonsense. There is ABSOLUTELY a good faith interpretation of the text to the effect that abortion is sinful, even if not everyone shares that interpretation.

On issues that aren't explicit in the Bible, I think there is enough guidance in the Bible that you can accurately infer what God's intentions were. . . He is absolutely not anti-creation or "pro-choice".

Stacy is interpreting the Bible based on her political beliefs. . . which I believe she will answer for when the time comes.

I do believe it says one of the things God hates is "hands that shed innocent blood." Doesn't get much more innocent than a baby in the womb.

It also supports ethnic cleansing. I am sure that isn't something they are interested in though.

The relevant question is whether public policy should reflect (just one) interpretation of a religious text.
Yes, public policy should reflect the correct interpretation of the word of God regarding abortion. Not because it is the state's job to enforce religious scruples, but because it is the state's job to provide justice under the law. It's just as valid for the state to ban abortion as it does banning the murder of children outside the womb.

Not sure, but it does say there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. It's not a pleasant place regardless.

The Bible is full of plenty of fables and tall tales. This is no exception. In biblical times something as simple as a wheelbarrow would be a technological marvel.

The Bible calls homosexually an abomination.

"Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable"(abomination) (Leviticus 18:22) and "If a man lies with a man as one lies with woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads" (Leviticus 20:13).

If a man shall lie with another man thou shall get monkeypox.

Abortion is not illegal.....why is this so hard to understand!

DEMS using this as a misinformed tactic to make women believe that abortion is illegal!

Vicious, lying politicians, they are.

There’s millions of members and supporters of the Groomer party who claim to be Christians….they are known by their actions and words….they will be judged accordingly.

Thank you for that. I shed a little tear as I heard his voice saying those words in my head. The Great Maja Rushdie is greatly missed.
