What's your substitute for Oyster Bay?

Oof! That's a tough one. It'd require a 40 minute drive to backtrack into Douglasville to get to Gumbeaux's. Or - there's The Steakhouse in Rockmart that has alleviated our cravings for Oyster Bay. It's owned by the uncle of Cincinnati Reds pitcher, Ty Floyd. (Former LSU pitcher from the 2023 Championship season.)

Yeah, now that you mention it, there are some good things about Lawrenceville that I definitely miss.

Jesus, people leaving California in droves.

As long as they leave their appetite for California policies at the state border, I'm OK with this. Whenever I meet someone who is a new transplant (this week it has happened twice), I go out of my way to tell them we are glad they are here.

My concern is when someone decides to bring liberal policies to local politics and I will push back on that, every time. 'You left California for a reason.. spread that virus somewhere else'.
