As Rubio correctly pointed out - if there had been an attack... if Iran so much as shot at one of our naval ships, and there was intelligence of planning in advance... the Democrats would have hauled half of the administration before BS hearings, posturing for midterms.

I listened to Kattie Britt on WERC this morning being interviewed. She discussed the vote being discussed on the War Powers act.
I decided the following... bring it.
Call them back into session this week. Hold the vote and have it on record, making certain they all understand - this will be where they stand, and it will be for history to recall for EVER.
Then make a list of all who vote against. Make certain it is distributed everywhere, Trump Administration website, Fox News, even the Greyhound terminal. This is a list of people who, would not stand for Americans and are on record supporting a regime who endorsed more terror throughout the world, than Nazi Germany.
Make them back pedal so fast, they don't know what hit them.

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” -- Luke 9:23-27
Jesus warns about being ashamed of Him.
Today this applies when:
o faith is unpopular
o values are challenged
o it’s easier to stay silent
I'm reminded of a Dentist who told me Friday, of a family members wife, a freaking therapist, advisor. The Dentist told me she is absolutely the wrong type of individual in that field. "Don't do it if you don't want to" is the therapist's go to line. His complaint stemmed also from lack of discipleship.
Jesus calls us to live openly and faithfully.
Why This Is Relevant Today
1. It challenges self-centered living
Modern culture often says:
o “Follow your heart”
o “Do what makes you happy”
o “Put yourself first”
Jesus says:
Deny yourself and follow Me
This reorients life from self-first ? God-first.
