Sorry the author of this tripe is @lolgop.

He's got as much credibility as Barack Obama. Which ain't saying much.

I've read this guy's stuff for a couple of years. On Twitter, and other comment boards, and it's usually juvenile and petty.

He's a hack, and not worth being taken seriously. It's bordering on hysterical the attempts to talk the TP out of existence. And I wish they'd get their stories straight.

Is the TP irrelevant, or has it, as Pelosi, Reid and Schumer keep saying the driving force of the GOP?

This article is ridiculous

Of course the 1st amendment won't be repealed

However the amendment democrats are floating around, which would overturn citizens united and limit campaign contributions from individuals, is incompatible with the 1st amendment, which is what Cruz was referring to

These "anonymous" tea party sources are probably just paid concern trolls, or made up people with made up quotes.

They didn't show up at those town meetings during the health insurance debate by magic.

It's called word of mouth. Oh, and the internet.

And organizations such as AFP(funded by the evil Koch brothers).

But the point is that nobody would have showed up, if they hadn't cared. And they still do.

I would imagine that this is to which Cruz was referring.
quote:

Reid’s favored amendment contains a provision reassuring critics that it is not to “be construed to grant Congress the power to abridge the freedom of the press.” Benevolent as it is of him to protect this principle, the caveat still rather misses the mark. The truth is, the New York Times can look after itself — prohibitive laws or none. Deborah’s Garden Club for Progressive Change in Seattle, on the other hand, cannot. It is telling that the seminal campaign-finance case of the last few years did not involve a magazine such as National Review or a television station such MSNBC, but a nonprofit advocacy group called Citizens United.

The President openly lies to the American public and you leftists dont give a rats arse

There it is! Obama - THE President - tells two bold-faced lies which directly relate to MAJOR issues in the Presidential election...and it ain't a problem.

Cruz spins a proposed Amendment, throwing red meat at his base...and OMG!

This nation deserves Barack Obama. Nothing like a severe arse-kickin to get folk back on the straight and narrow.

I call bullshite. That's just a blog post apparently. Not one of the alleged quotes is attributed to anyone other just a generalized Tea Party member.

Crappy journalism (if you want to call it that) at its worst.
