What interest do you, or Americans in general, have in Syria? Four walls and a strip of concrete? I think not. Like the previous comment, send your kids or family to guard.

I'm not a fan of us being in Syria, but I'm also not a fan of Russia's continuous expansion. That concerns me. It should concern all of you. Putin is KGB. He is an excellent liar. He should not be trusted. He wants world domination That's all.

there is no such thing as world domination anymore...that requires an ideology other than wanting to stuff your pockets
what Putin wants is control over his sphere of influence which is his Asian border states and the former Soviet satellites, so that he can steal their resources for his and his crony’s benefit. The US and it’s western allies are no longer in a position to dictate policy via military threats and the recent decade has shown that actual military intervention only weakens the aggressor in these areas.
It is time to accept that we cannot be the world’s policeman any longer. Nobody is trying to export ideology any more except the islamofacists. Any solution that takes away their access to sponsorship is a good solution
