OP I know you enjoy American troops being killed in the Middle East. We have been arming and training the Kurds for years now, they themselves want to be their own state, if they can’t defend themselves then so be it. ISIS is no different than the HTS and other rebel groups that are already in northern Syria. The Syrian gov’t is already fighting them along with Russia. The best thing for the Kurds is to be on the good side with the Syrian gov’t and Russia. Syrian gov’t has already sent forces to help the Kurds once. This wasn’t our fight 2,000 years ago, nor 500 years ago, nor now.

They don't support it, that was reporting from a prior security arrangement from a month ago.
Turkey is now executing that agreement. The only people who may get killed are the radical splinter faction of Kurds that keep bombing Turkey, THATs why Turkey wants them away from the border.
Its a 20 mile security border where they will place millions of Syrian refugees squating in Turkey.
Love the drama an INVASION, loosen up Sandy baby.

Turkey is a NATO ally it is in their best interest to do as we tell them.
I bet they leave the Kurds alone and everything goes fine

Who are you, General SPIKE Lee?

Kurds have been defending themselves for thousands of years. They are good fighters, they’ll lose some territory if Turkey goes hardcore at them but they’ll defend the true Kurdish land. SDF iirc is in control of some areas of Syria right now that isn’t Kurdish land to begin with.

More than 50% of eligible voters couldn't point to Syria on a map

Thinking this will hurt Trump is total nonsense

a third party vote is a vote to actually drain the swamp. electing the same 2 parties and expecting a different result is stupid.

Yep, all Americans vote on are territorial disputes in between ME countries. You are on top of it.

You’re being very generous, it’s probably closer to 10% than 50%.

People like you are why we invaded Iraq in the first place. Stop supporting the same failing foreign policy of endless conflicts. We have to save our military and treasure for our greatest threat, China. Spending trillions of dollars and using up tens of thousands of troops to hold territory in the middle east makes us weaker, not stronger.

This region was partly responsible for starting WW 1. Frick them. What productive items does Syria export? Many people in that area have serious mental problems. They can't live peacefully with their neighbors. Quarantine the entire region, make it a no-go zone and outlaw air traffic to that region. Frick them.

quote:Until 1991 Turkey literaly banned the Kurdish language & dress in public and arrested anyone who spoke the language or wore traditional clothes in public. They refused to call them Kurds and called them "Mountain turks" trying to literaly deny their existence as an ethnic group. Only from massive pressure from the UN have they allowed the language to be spoken in public or on tv/radio. To this day villages are burned down, reporters and journalists go missing, and civillians are executed. Historically there have been several well documented massacres of over 1,000. We also can't forget the Armenian, Assyrian, and Greek Genocides, estimated to have killed 1.6 to 3.5 million people, and commited by the Ottomans, to which Turkey is the sucessor state of. You're probably right tho, probably nothibg will happen, but may God protect the innocent, because the possibility of genocide is very, very, very real. They hate the Kurds, and historically it has happened several times before.
I bet they leave the Kurds alone and everything goes fine
