A couple years ago I was in a Dollar General checking out. There was a young male democrat employee behind the counter looking at his paycheck. He was in shock, complaining about how much tax was taken from his first paycheck. The female Democrat cashier was consoling him like "Boy I know! They be taking all our money in taxes. WE can't ever get ahead."

I walked out with my drink and Slim Jim shaking my head and laughing at the irony.

You're forgetting an important part: "without representation." They did not oppose taxation with representation.
