I’m an older millennial and I prob have more in common with Gen xers than I do the younger millennials.

I don't doubt it. I'm a millennial technically, but I'm way on the front end, a Xennial if you recognize that quirk. I really think that we were tye beginning of the end. One income households started no longer being a thing, and divorces rose. Those that came after me were raised by the internet and their mother's and only saw their dad's every other weekend.

Millennials are generally following the same trend as every other recent generation. Gen Z is the complete anomaly here and a welcome one

I’m a young millennial and associate with a lot of zoomers

1990-1994 are a strange group in which we were old enough to remember 9/11 and the Great Recession without ever being directly impacted by either, while at the same time living most of our young lives without smartphones, social media, etc. I just feel, based on how significant everything I mentioned was to older millennials and older zoomers, the experience was unique and we basically have our own sub-generation.

The general humor, worldview, passiveness, and cynicism are markedly different from the behavior of both millennials and Gen Z.

Millennials came of age when GWB was perceived as a war criminal doofus, Obama was cool, and the Daily Show was at its height.
