Barring any collapse during this last quarter, the wife and I will have a 100k gain this year. It's nice but still a long way to go.
In other words, when roughly $500,000 results in $100,000 in gains, the market is doing awesome. Hopefully, that doesn't mean it's overpriced, because if not, that's also good protection in case we go into a recession and the market also regresses a bit.
