we get to qualify her statements and look at the whole context?
Do you want to see the Trump quotes in full context? I'll bet you don't bc you're gonna have to choke on those words.

..I will preface this post by saying the reign of the KKK from 1882-1968 is a scar in US history. I am not trying to diminish what some Africans Americans were put through and I understand the fear these letters can still generate.
Having said that the KKK is dead. It's dead in enrollment and changed in its mission.
I think it is very irresponsible if not damaging to prey on the African American community's peace of mind for political gain. Especially coming from Barack Obama, an elected black president in a country made up of 16% black citizens.
The victim mentality narrative for every gender/race/ethnicity was created to try and win this election, and now we are paying for it on our streets and god knows how long in people's subconscious.
Some facts:
-1925 KKK had 4 million members, US population was only 114 million. 3.5% of population
-Todays KKK is estimated to have between 5-8k members, US population 322 million. .001% of population
- More blacks are murdered by other blacks every 6 months in the US than the KKK lynched in their entire 86 year heyday from 1882 to 1968.
- About as many blacks have been murdered by other blacks in Chicago alone under Obama's presidency (~3,500) as the KKK lynched in the United States during their 86 year heyday (3,446) from 1868 to 1962.
^ that number is reached in black abortions every 4 days in the US by the way.
- Over twice as many blacks have been murdered by other blacks in Chicago as US troops have been killed in the war in Afghanistan since 2001.
What does the KKK look like now? -USA Todayquote:
"We've had a few members who have become bad apples, and the whole organization is overall cast in the same light," Ancona said.
Today, the KKK does background checks on new members in an effort to screen applicants for violent crimes and drug abuse, he said
Nobody supports them, they are a small racist social club not a large militant group with influence.
Those 3 letters are the least of your worries as an African American in today's United States. They hit an emotional chord however, and that is the only intent in their use.

Do you have a legitimate source for these statements that you are assigning to Trump? Not saying he didnt say these things but I would just like to see the proof because thats the first I've heard of those statements and honestly if he did say them I would bet they would have been on every newspaper and headlined on every report about Trump by CNN / NBC / MSN etc.
And as for the not renting to a few black people and being sued - you can talk to just about anyone who owns a substantial amount of rental properties and theyll tell you that the majority of them have been sued or at least threatened to be sued for the same thing at some point. Its just one of those things that happens all the time in the rental business.

No specific connotation to black people.
If she didnt mean it towards black kids then why issue an apology for the remark when confronted by a black activist who accused her of making a racist remark?

Bc she had to. Are you really going to make a scene in which you start saying "i didnt mean all black kids, i mean i suppose someof them were black...blah blsh.." you simply say you shouldn't have said it and move on. She's a politician

Nope. Just listing reasons why some of that community may be involved in protests. Nice try though

Wasn't he critized back in the 80s for filing a lawsuit against the city of Miami to open a private golf course that included minority members? It led to all private courses having to open up to minorities
I could be wrong but remember a thread about it a while back. I'll try to find it
Published article for anyone interested

For the office of VP to have been compared to " as exciting as a bucket of warm spit", folks sure do attribute a lot of malice to Pence.
