The people commenting on AOC's twitter are so dumb. Trying to make "gotcha" comparisons to all of us being angry over the kneeling football players, and thus proving that we are hypocrites... Hilarious.
Because players disrespecting the symbol of American freedom and all who fought for it, over a cause that none of them could seem to articulate, is EXACTLY the same thing as people protesting their local government for locking them out of their jobs and inside their houses.
That's a special kind of stupid.

Totally missed the point, but I'm not surprised. Other people, even supporters, have mentioned the obvious power dynamic. Someone holding a gun to your head and asking for a donation is the same as someone holding a church collection basket. The whole point of weapons there is the threat of power. To act like it would have been the same without them is stupid and naive. You wanna try again?

It’s putting the people on equal terms with the Legislatures armed goons so that they can’t be intimidated. It’s why the second amendment exists.

The right protests and votes and if there's something they think is worth protesting for they vote in huge numbers
