Why would I be motivated to vote for them?

The swamp is made up of both parties and does what is best for their collective bottom line.
Conservatives have not held a majority in a very very long time. Democrats have and Republicans have but not conservatives, therefore you are forced to vote for the lessor of two evils. Republicans are at this time the lessor of the two evils so they get my vote.

The Republicans say they don't want open borders or the Govt paying for healthcare.

But the people who pay the Republicans want these things.

The lobbyists run things and the people have lost control.

Every politician who has accumulated millions of dollars needs to be thrown in jail until they can show where the money came from.

The problem is the lobbyists. A very small group of treasonous filth control the halls of congress. Congress does not represent the people they represent these miscreants.

It's not the lobbyists themselves, it's who they represent. They represent the People with the most money - which in our system are corporations. If you allow money as speech, those with the most money have the most speech, and therefore frame the debate and essentially write the laws. Ideally we rely on competition to balance out their influence, but when their interests all align, such as maintaining personhood status, and therefore political influence, they are formidable. We've allowed these entities to take over the reigns of our government.

At this point I'm for Trump stepping down as soon as he replaces RBG! If he couldn't get things done with a Republican controlled House, it sure won't happen with the Dems in charge.

You shouldn't be. They honestly don't deserve the republican vote. I could probably make the argument you'd get more of a conservative agenda passed voting for more moderate, yellow dog democrats then actual "real republicans"..
