Yes and that is why we are 37 T in debt? Our overspending is a large part of that but so is our trade deficit. Both must be fixed

THIS! But the bots don't want to talk about the obvious.

Wall Street has to punish Trump. Wall Street wants government printing money to prop them up.

We built the best economy in the world without them.

We had the best economy in the 50s, 60, and 70s, ya know because we didnt have many imports to even tariff. Then the 80s happened. Before that only 7 out of 30 years had less than 5% growth. We then began allowing imports without tariffs and we never hit 5% growth again until 2021. Thats 41 years of the "worlds best economy", under 5% growth

That may have had something to do with the rest of the developed world being destroyed in the 1940s.

Thank you

They then rebuilt on our backs, and we didnt ask them to pay an access fee to our hundreds of millions of our customers

And yet 80 years later, they are well established traders, and still no access fee to our 360M consumers

Any “access fee” will just be transferred to the American consumer. You and I won’t be better off because it’s more expensive to sell goods in America.

No

It means less Euro products would have been bought over those decades (like in the 50s, 60s, and 70s). And our economy would have been much stronger than it is today

You have 30 years of historical data to show you what actually occurred before non-tariff trading was allowed. Biased economists shouldnt be able to sway your opinion away from reality. And by biased, I am referring to globalists

Them convincing you that buying American goods and allowing that money to constantly circulate within our borders, is somehow worse than buying less expensive Italian handbags, that are "not taxed"

They were brought over because the American market determined that they were/are a superior product. If American companies made better products and better values, there would be a limited market for European goods in America.

An alternative telling of your position is that American companies finally faced competition starting in the 80s and, in certain industries, were exposed as second rate players. It should not be beholden on the American consumer to endure a worse quality of life so shitty companies can be protected artificially.

I'll bet you I made more money doing tourist stuff then than you made in college .

Because you didn't attend one .

I made 45k working 5 months a year in 1996 while attending school full time

You're afraid a Mexican is going to steal you job.

Dems are just low-IQ drama queens no matter what happens. I have cash waiting to go in, those panicking either have zero money in the market or are just dimwits with short memories and incapable of understanding the long term.

The dude is never going to recover from his post yesterday. He's going to try to ignore it but it exposed him better than any one of us could have done on our own
