This is what I first thought. I remember when I first found out a colleague of mine was gay (when I was, it turned out ridiculously, trying to set him up with this cute girl). The one thing I remember from the ensuing conservation (this was decades ago) was him telling me that for him the idea of having sex with a female was disgusting. Guess that might make him a bigot these days!
