You don't know shite, man. I think you're the one who is insane. And your argument is worthless. Your first post in this thread was a frickin lie, by the way, which really tells me all I needed to know.

Just another leftist.

As predicted, this cocksucker goes back to the sidelines waiting for another chance to snipe and literally try to take the thread off topic yet again.

And just when it was starting to get back on track too. What a shame and what a waste of fricking time this guy is.

Right. So the people who are supporting the bound-and-fricking-determimed to bring manufacturing back to the US by economic force if necessary policy aren't "MAGA".

Again, another panican. Status quo-itian.

What you don't seem to understand is that this is what we voted for. Those of us who knew what the frick he wanted to do.

The Tariffs have been hugely successful. Trump
Has turned the economy around in a year. And people are seeing their pocket books get full of cash because of his policies

Hitler.

If Hitler had had a heart attack in 1939 his leadership to pull the German economy out the the absolute despair of the Weimar hyperinflation would be considered one of the greatest in world history.

Some medical supplies are indeed cheap.

Even if that was your point (and we both know it wasn't), that means what you said is that as long as you don't buy toys or throw pillow, you won't pay tariffs. Don't look now, but that's even stupider than what you really were claiming.

Yeah dude. I'm the one continually moving the goalposts.

more dollars out of US companies' hands and into the governemnt's......

although as i said, i would gladly take an overall 10% tariff but i'm sure that will not be the case.

That's how long they've been in place.

I'm not sure what's supposed to be funny about that.

Important points? I’ve yet to see any evidence of such. Anything made in china currently that is a necessity we need production here for those. Anything that is not a necessity then one would have to question why or should they need as people buy useless stuff all the time on credit cards that put them and families deeper in debt. Now generally trade for support or items between countries that doesn’t hurt ones self interest should be done but maybe just maybe America needs fixing itself first.

and does anyone really think an across the board tariff is a good idea? i believe tariffs for some products / industries are a good thing but a sweeping across the board tariff on all countries and products doesn't seem logical.

POTUS Trump just raised all tariffs

Did he though? 10% was the lowest tier of tariffs placed on countries and most were higher than 10%. Now 10% is the most.

So I guess he raised tariffs from 0% to 10% after the supreme court ruled them unconstitutional under the emergency act.

But they were lowered from what they were prior to 9am yesterday.

The absurdity needs to end. Blanket tariffs kill US small and midsize businesses.

The big companies may be able to eat the extra costs for parts but smaller companies arent gonna magically be able to start manufacturing their own parts and just have to eat the costs.

they do. as i explained in another thread, except for a 5% discount i received from my vendor, US companies will be paying for every cent of the tariff amounts that i have paid to the government.
