The majority of Catholics worldwide want this?

Not saying they want Latin Mass, but yes I would say all Catholics want Liturgy over an expanding progressive "church".

’s a truly bizarre blind spot. And not a credit to the faith. Even if Christ had meant Peter was the cornerstone (he didn’t), how one goes from that [mis]interpretation, to apostolic succession and papal authority is completely beyond me and forever shall be.

“Here are the keys to Heaven. What you bind on earth is bound in heaven. What you loose on earth is loosed in heaven.”

Also “Peter feed my sheep, Peter feed my lambs.”
Please explain to me what you don’t understand about these statements from Christ..

Your only argument could be, you don’t believe in apostolic succession.
But the appointment of Mathias in the book of acts blows that argument to shite.

That leaves you arguing against Christ and the apostles.

The goal of Protestantism is to do and believe as little as possible while still being able to claim belief in some extremely vague sense.

Not a single thing you or other responding poster said in any way supports RC apostolic succession and papal authority. Nothing. Matthias was chosen to replace Judas and see the criteria. How does that translate into a pope who can speak with basically absolute authority on matters of doctrine ex cathedra. One in no way follows the other.

And the feed my sheep command is exclusive to Peter how? And means “you’re a pope and some randos 2000 years from now have some special pope voodoo powers”?

Terrible arguments.

Well let’s see… for 1500 years after the resurrection the entire Christian world accepted and lived by the Catholic understanding of those passages.

To accept your belief system would mean that true Christianity did not exist until the reformation.
Talk about a weak argument.
