One of the window lickers has already insisted that it's an accurate spelling, because Trump clearly knew the origin of a word that has existed as a formal part of the lexicon for about a century. He's all about precision and grammar and 100 year old cartoon characters when he gets on that keyboard.

Yes she trashed Trump before going to work as the press secretary. She was a great press secretary but she is a swamp creature opportunist.
Everyone should really use their brains sometimes and think more then in the moment. Here’s a hint go back and watch her commentary during the lead up to the 2016 primaries

I make no such claim.
Indeed, I’ve stated on this forum repeatedly that the 2020 election served notice that only Deep State vetted candidates will be allowed to win the White House.
Whatever your opinion of Trump or DeSantis, that is not exactly a ringing endorsement of either candidate.

And therein lies a wellspring of the continuing crisis. No nominee is ever going to be approved for a Cabinet level position whose primary loyalty is not to the Deep State.
I knew Trump’s appointment of Jeff Session as Attorney General was going to be a colossal failure when Session’s first act as AG — before recusing himself from the wholly fabricated Russian collusion case — was to rescind an Obama era DOJ directive that left the issue of prosecuting the possession of recreational marijuana up to the individual states.
Sessions, a Deep State Drug Warrior to the end. Trump’s subsequent nomination of career Deep State toady Bill Barr only accentuates the point.
Nothing would change if DeSantis was elected President. This ultimately is why any vote in this UniParty® charade is a vote for the left or right wing on the Deep State.
