Just like a leftist.

You cast a stone saying I am duped, I am saying you are. It is more likely you are projecting your own insecurities unto the conversation.
Therefore, you are acting like a leftist and you are scared.

I know you enough to draw a lot of conclusions. What is you education level? The depth of your atheist arguments are bad, so just curious. I am sensing a lack of reflection and logical thinking. I could give you much stronger arguments then your tripe.

This is getting ridiculous. Education is no way equates to logical thinking, and I think you have proven that. I don't care what religion people chose to believe in, but keep that shite out of politics.

No, but depending on where you go it helps with logic, argument structure and the ability to reason.

Oh, and I will always vote with one eye on God. Thanks for the advice, you have made some riveting arguments.

What education level? Well let just put it like this: he’s smarter than God. Now the conundrum comes into play when we attempt to determine the ranks of Bucky, Displaced and SFP. We know obviously God’s fourth, but those first three present quite the decision making process.

I needed that chuckle.

Thanks

Time to go to bed, it has been fun! I have to put together a syllabus for students on the fly tomorrow morning.

You can blame Lindsey Graham for making the abortion issue worse like a moron when it was already settled but nope cocksucker Lindsey needs to shoot the Republican party in the foot more than they already do to themselves.

How many times do I have to explain that the three cases of rape, incest and life of the mother are typically out of the hands of the mother?

Those aren’t necessarily linked. A LOT of people have never really worked through their morality and the basis for it. They may have a PhD in quantum mechanics, but if they’ve never been challenged in that particular area it’s more comfortable to ignore it, and just wave some “secular morality” wand over the entire issue and move on. It’s not an issue of intelligence, but more one of intellectual honesty.

While I agree it is not always linked the inability to reason is making me ask the questions. I have met many students at my school with zero education that are smarter then my Masters students, but I do notice trends.

Zero. I’m asking you why that impacts the morality of the situation. Why is it wrong to begin with, and what changes about that when a woman has been raped?

Have a good night, Flats.

It's nothing to do with morality. It's not moral, but it's allowing for a bit of fairness.

How moral is to force someone to do something against their will?

Dummy it isn't about the votes it is about murder! Worse than murder. Killing of the most innocent people on earth that are completely defenseless. It isn't about the votes.

I still do not see a legitimate reason to kill someone for someone else’s actions. It is disgusting to think someone can rationalize this.

Because I believe the Bible is inspired revelation that teaches the imago Dei begins at conception and therefore every life has an innate dignity, sanctity, and liberty I'm deemed insane?

You can call me all the names you want and it bothers me not. Just wanna be sure I understand your position.

I’m not reading this whole thread. Abortion is murder. I’m not willing to consider any exception for abortion except possibly for the life of the mother. She should be required to get multiple opinions from randomly selected doctors who all state her life is at great risk. Babies born of incest or rape are human beings too. They shouldn’t be put death for the sins of their parents. If you can’t afford to raise the child, you should give it up for adoption. You don’t want to deal with the scars of rape or incest, give the child up for adoption.

Abortion is a sin and the slavery of era. You can’t have exceptions for slavery and you can’t have exceptions for abortion. It’s murder. It’s immoral. It should be strongly punished.
The whole my body my choice argument is illogical. It wasn’t just your body when you let a man cum in you. You knew the possible consequences of that action. Obviously a woman who is raped has not consented to her body but no human should be punished for the sins or crimes of their parents. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Once again, it’s murder. How anyone can’t see that is beyond me. Use protection and even protection is not 100% preventing pregnancy.

Thank you. With time you heal. There’s actually a little more to the story and with hindsight it provided confirmation that God is there.

quote:

friend that was AD in the Navy was told at around 7 or 8 months along her baby son died. The military hospital back when made her go through a long grueling labor (with no epidural offered) Another friend had the same horrid tragedy with twins.

Truly heartbreaking for the families and everyone supporting them. The hospital should’ve handled the birth better than they did. I’m sorry that happened. It’s inexcusable and beyond callous.

Life is beautiful and the most precious gift we have. I wish and pray that abortion wasn’t needed. Ideally it wouldn’t be. But here we are.

Every political view is grounded in some transcendent worldview. So whether it's Christian nationalism or secular humanism or other our politics will be grounded in something.
