I'm not sure I'll ever forget people falling off of those planes trying to escape the Taliban. God, that was one of the lowest points that I can remember in my adult life. I also remember how absolutely unhinged Biden was holding a press conference while the withdrawal was happening or had already happened. I was listening on the radio and was about as pissed as I've ever been with the way he conducted himself.
We ended up having an Afghan family moving in two houses down for about 6 months or so. The patriarch was in the Afghan military and they were evacuated over here. During Independence Day they put fireworks on their car and were lighting them. :lol: It was pretty awesome to see people that were just happy to be here and to embrace America and the blessings we have. They were very respectful people. One of my neighbors fought in Afghanistan and he had mixed feelings about it.

To me this is a non-negotiable item (regime change too). We said that they made the claim that they had enough uranium to produce 11 bombs. We can't just act like that didn't happen. They have to give it up one way or another. That boasting was meant to keep us from attacking when all it did was give reason to do so. Had they shut the hell up and tested a bomb first the mullah's would've been untouchable.

Hell if I know. Negotiations are ongoing. What I do know is that with your preferred version of things it wouldn’t even be a topic for discussion. Assuming you’re being honest you somehow think that is a good thing. Odd, isn’t it? Or are you secretly hoping that Trump gets the uranium?

I really don't care for any other option with hindsight being what it is. I won't ever vote for a dem so they're all out from the get-go. I voted Bush both times but that wasn't so great. Maybe, maybe if 9/11 doesn't happen the Bush presidency is vastly different with its priorities. I voted for McCain because I saw Obama for what he was. I checked out when Romney ran because he wasn't going to win and it was obvious. Since then it's been Trump.

That’s a good question to ask. But I’m not Catholic so I could only speculate as to what happened on the inside to allow this cancer to take hold and spread. This has been decades in the making at the very least.
