This idea that if someone isn't talking about this, while discussing that, they are fine with "this" is the laziest and most idiotic debate tactic imaginable.
And a certain crowd does it daily here simply to deflect from debates they are usually losing.

No I didn’t. Look - if you want to discuss Chinese ownership of farmland or the trade imbalance and reliance on China you really won’t get any argument from me. I don’t care about TikTok’s content. I care about the CCP using the platform against us. Apparently Trump was sufficiently concerned about the issue until Jeff Yass and the Tech Bros got to him and then he wasn’t. Congress got involved and passed the most bipartisan bill that we have seen in years because the consensus is that its a concern.
Again go back and read the legislation and then read the 9-0 SCOTUS opinion. It has nothing to do with suppressing speech or content and everything to do with a national security concern. TikTok is free to publish whatever they just want it out of the Chinese state hands. It’s not unreasonable and it’s a valid concern.
At the end of the day they have to divest or go dark. That or go back and amend the law. He has control of both houses. Trump has one 90 day extension in his pocket to cut a deal. Hopefully it works out. I am indifferent if TikTok stays or goes but understand people rely on it.

Maybe you should look into it when it comes back. There’s 170 million US users, it’s popular for a reason and it’s not Chinese propaganda unless that’s what you’re searching for. Most of my feed is sports, right sided politics, and women. Examples are ESPN, Athletes, Sports content creators, Charlie Kirk, Trump, Rogan Clips, and the women are a bunch of hoes but it’s good entertainment. Lots of cute women from Louisiana I follow

But can you see how some may enjoy it? I can flip through and view different clips from daily podcasts and not have to watch them all. It’s no different than how Twitter is posted here. If TikTok was able to be embedded here most users would like it. Honestly I doubt Chicken cares but tigerdroppings should absolutely be using it as a business tool like they do other social media sites especially since revenue can be earned on it. It also just helped win an election majorly.

Trump is simply working a deal to get tiktok into the hands of the MIC supporting uniparty banker and asset management firms. tiktok will become a weapon against conservatives all because uniparty "conservatives" can't tolerate tiktok allowing anti Israel content to go unchecked. book it.

Bytedance got under Meta’s feathers and I’m ok with that. Wouldn’t surprise me if they or Google become a high bidder for their tech. Really hope this Trump admin doesn’t overlook the damage these companies have done. They are just as evil and complicit as the CCP
