I hear ya, and I understand that..... but, let's be honest, if we the people turned out to vote in numbers that truly represent everyday American folks, we could fix this issue.

Good to talk about. And all of us, Democrats and Republicans and independents....are on board. But it'll never ever happen. Those who are in charge of making that a thing, are the ones who conveniently become millionaires soon after they take office.
Sadly, even if there are term limits, it still wouldn't stop representatives from taking bribes and becoming bought and paid for millionaires. That's the issue.
