I believe the issue wasn’t the illegality of the tariff as much as the rationale for charging the tariffs. By what rule did the President say he would impose the tariffs. Tariffs are not illegal. And now the President is saying he will call the tariffs on a different rule. He is within his legal authority. People are too focused on a win or loss on a left pocket right pocket question. The tariffs don’t and won’t go away. Some on this board just want to scream “Ha! Gotcha!” The President has done some really great things. He has done a LOT of things in a short time. It is what I voted for. Nothing is perfect. Not my wife, my kids, or my President. But I am proud of all and proud of my country.
