They all want to be Woodward and Bernstein. Crusaders for justice. They’re not interested in teasing apart complicated problems.
It’s also a reflection of northeast values, and the way people in that region police each other’s behavior.
I had a buddy from Massachusetts, his mother worked at his high school, and there came a day when one of her coworkers pulled her aside, and said, in shock, do you know that your son was shooting guns last weekend?
He was part of a competitive shooting team.

You're entitled to your own opinion. You are not entitled to your own facts.
Not only were they inflammatory, e.g., yelling a question about Otto Warmbier, they were deliberately so. Acosta admitted that in a moment caught off camera. “Hey if they're not going to let me in the fricking meeting, that's what happens.”
