Seems like arguments for standard vs dst is a persons preference of daylight before or after work.
I’d rather dst. There are a million things people can do with the extra daylight after work that doesn’t involve fishing.

frick this man. Hopefully Florida can finally get the protection act and keep the extra evening sunlight and just stay permanent there if we go darker evenings federally.
Or we just split the difference and move on.
Standard time year round sucks if you like doing things in the evening or have kids in things.

Most of the usual Trump supporters on X are actually arguing FOR standard time. Kind of odd considering Rubio, Scott, etc actually pushed for permanent DST and eliminating standard time.

Not too mention that standard time is safer for children headed to school. Safer for the morning commute. Healthier for all involved because of the circadian rhythm. Say no to DST!

DST is what was added. Take away what they added and get back to normalcy! Only mouth breathing pond scum prefer DST. Basically, only liberal loons think DST is better.

Do people actually think that by adjusting our clocks actually does anything to increase how long the sun stays out? In the winter, most of the lower 48 gets from 7.5-9 hours of daylight, that will never increase. In Summer time we get roughly 12.5-14.5 hours of daylight and that is never changing. The best you can do to change it is move closer to the equator. No need to change clocks, leave at standard time and just change business hours of operation, including schools.It's as easy as that.

There are way too many childless fricks on here advocating to reduce the amount of daylight we get after work and school.
I don't care if you have daylight in the morning. The kids don't care. Most kids use daylight AFTER school and after we are off of work.
