Can anyone explain how a Christian Baptist is the most qualified to be the ambassador to a Jewish state? There wasn't one single person in the entire country (whether they supported Trump or not) more qualified?
How many of Trump's supporters aren't involved in his administration? That is just more typical DC garbage of rewarding supporters with cushy government jobs.

Seriously? There probably isn't a stronger pro-Israel demographic than Baptists and other evangelicals. Hell, even American Jews keep giving Democrats a pass for being pro-Arab and anti-Israel.

It's not a Jewish State, it's a State full of Jews. Huge difference.
Ambassadors are put there for our interests, not theirs. It's almost always about repaying political favor, which every president does.
