Let’s pretend I have TDS. There isn’t one shred of difference between people with TDS and TWS. They are the same people just on different sides of a coin. I don’t worship Trump like you do. I don’t care that he trolls on Twitter. He does some good things and some bad things just like every President the last 50 years has done. The difference between me and you is you worship him and think he’s infallible. He’s no different than W or Obama. Trump is arguably to the left of Bill Clinton on many issues. He’s a Populist who has tricked gullible people like you into thinking he is some genius.

Realize this comment is made tongue-in-cheek, but my concern all along has been the following: what has he done that will last, or get the American people to insist certain policies or actions endure?
Absolutely everything he’s done can be undone with an executive order of the new guy. Clear the nation out of illegals?? New guy lets them back in by the millions. Tariffs?? New guy takes them back to what we had before. Trump is failing as far as winning people over to his ideas to where Americans insist on those being the standard going forward.
Everything he’s done can be undone in a flash, and by making himself unpopular, you can bet his policies will be reversed by the next election. So what did he really accomplish??

There are 5-10 posters here who defend him at all costs and for whatever reason have their identity tied to him. I understand that phenomenon a little more with the online grifter brigade, whose money rides on him.

I love this board. Hardly anyone wants to address the issue, which is that when you lose independents, you lose elections. Of course, this very MAGA board is mostly pleased with Trump, but independents see sticky inflation and things they probably didn’t vote for, such as the ICE raids, extrajudicial assassination of likely drug dealers, and a chaotic tariff regime. I bet some first term, pre Covid Trump style prosperity would work, though.
