Do you feel the crackdown on illegal immigration is positively affecting housing costs?

Somewhat yes.

You can blame who you want for the economy but I would think the biggest reason for the economy today is either abraham lincoln or lyndon b johnson

the democrats were the party of slavery and they switched the sides on who was the slavery

ETA: the democrats plan wouldve worked forever if they didn't do immigration too. immigrants don't pay taxes

11 months into his 2nd term and you are still asking this?

How quickly could you move a trillion dollars and have the ability to start up yet unbuilt manufacturing sites?

Is there a button he can push to do this quicker? Like a reset button?

Prices are increasing ever so slightly.

Inflation was 9%. You were happy then.

It’s now 2.1% and you think it’s too high.

You are either a woman (no offense), a child, or not good at math.

Go look at your 401k in 2023. Look at it now.

You didn’t answer the GDP question.

What about the economy is worse today than in 2023?

Is it just your “feelings”?

Yeah. It's not really that bad. And the man should get out and take walks and enjoy the blue sky and fresh air. And maybe go to a state park and camp out. No need to be miserable waiting for good things to happen.

Okay, so basically you gave me a yes, a maybe and an unsure.

The one you are unsure on was actually pretty awesome and exciting- and also stymied six ways from Sunday. Trump and team tried very hard on that, and I assume still are, but are fighting courts left and right at every change.

The maybe... grocery prices. My milk and eggs are back to super cheap, beef is still too damn high. We save on some things, spend more on others.

Illegal immigration and housing stock- this is a big deal and should not be overlooked. It is very positive!

Basically- everything isn't roses, but things are looking up. Breathe!

You should schedule your colonoscopy if you use arguments like this

ETA: people that are like 45 will squeak by and live a relatively decent life in america but younger people will face the demographic reckoning

I promise I'm not huffing and puffing. Just some thoughts on a random Wed evening.

I'm concerned for the country is all. Seems we're doomed. But since your man is in office, you may be feeling better about things than you ought. If a Democrat was in office, you may feel differently.

If I'm POTUS, I could make it happen very quickly.

Considering Biden wanted my family to lose our only source of income over an experimental vaccine... yeah, I'd be concerned if either he or his protege were in office right now.

I honestly don't feel unreasonable for feeling that way.

How old are you? I hope you're young enough that when it all collapses you can fight back

I think several european countries would be past the boiling point if they had guns

I hope i'm young enough too

we're nearing insolvency and neither party tries on immigration. when the democrats get back in power we'll all be forced to be trans so it could be worse

Late 50's. I'll fight to defend my property and loved ones. That's about it.

I'm a working stiff, I don't own a business and don't have the desire to unless I have no choice.

1 hundo agree here. This needs to be fixed but if Trump can't do it (I don't think that Trump doesn't have the will but it just seems his hands are tied), no one can.

You are the one regurgitating democrat talking points without providing anything to back up your claims.

Your argument is 100% emotional. It isn’t reflective of what I’m experiencing as a business owner. My employees who have gotten operational bonuses last 2 quarters after going 3 years without them disagree with you.

Yes. Beef prices are higher. It’s very much like the eggs you people freaked out about. It’s easier to replace the chicken population that Biden destroyed vs cows. Cows grow much slower. It’s simple supply and demand.

I will asks one more time. What metric of the economy is doing worse today than 2 years ago?

Give it 10 more years

I think things will get dicey in 5 but it'll be like carjackings and stuff with no go zones. I think 10 is when it really pops off

What is nice is that the deep south seems to be where immigration happens the least
