Again, there are ALL sorts of stuff on the books now that could work. Including RICO, if they could prove it.

Yep. At 58.08 posts a day.

You should be ashamed, probably billing your clients for subpar legal services while furiously posting on the poliboard.

They pretty much dismantled the Italian Mafia by the 1980’s. Why do you have a problem with this?
Are you a sympathizer?

No. I just understand what the left will do whenever it gets this unprecedented power when they regain power

Should have happened a long time ago even before the Floyd riots, arson, looting and attacks.

The more you complain. The more obvious it becomes that Trump is doing the right thing

lol, well, they’ve been nonstop aggressive since Trump came down the escalator in 2015. All the Right has done is play nice.
It’s not working, and it’s time to sack up and support any effort to exile these fringe terrorists.

I think his point is be careful what you wish for when something like “domestic terrorist” gets thrown around. We just got through years of wailing over Biden calling MAGA that and hammering J6ers. Should have been a teaching point. But, everyone wants their pound of flesh back. I get it.

The real scary idea is combining this sort of behavior with the rhetoric giving so much deference/power to the Executive that we saw with the AEA scenario.

In theory, if this is stamped as legal, the Executive can label anyone or any group as a "terrorist" without any oversight or regulation.

What could go wrong?

When have the DEMs ever tried something so expansive in terms of federal policing power?

Are you referencing this antifa terrorist designation? We don’t know how expansive or expensive it’s going to be.

If you’re referencing the Patriot Act, I’ve made it pretty clear how I feel about that and the W Administration. But the Patriot Act was bipartisan. The Democrats supported it and have enthusiastically supported its continued renewal. So they are not free from complicity, as you implied in your post.

Others…the hiring of 80K IRS agents comes to mind. That’s a whole lot of salaries, support staffs, computers, office space and equipment, healthcare, pensions, etc. So the Democrats attempted that great expense/expanse of federal policing power.

The TSA? Again, a W feature, but one that had the full support of the Democrats.

So the implication that the Democrats have never attempted expensive expansions of policing power, as you say, seems disingenuous.

Under which statute would this be terrorism

Pretty sure the angle is funding riots and agitators that cause damage and harm to others

But you know this. You just like to stir this board up

You act as though you know some ww11 Italians. That’s about the only fascists that I can remember. So how are you keenly aware of that ?!
