Wait to see what Trump does in totality before you pass judgement. I am in a wait and see mode on this. I can certainly understand the worried reaction that everyone has. No one wants this to escalate into a broad continued conflict.
I am against going to war in Syria as much as anyone. I certainly don't want another Iraq disaster. They need to have definitive evidence that Assad did it. 100% proof.
Take a breath. We have not gone to war yet. Everyone needs to wait and see what happens. Do I believe that Trump will take some kind of action? Yes I do. He is going to send Assad a message if it is determined that his regime did this.
If it is determined that Assad did this Trump has to and I believe he will respond. He has to do something. If he doesn't he will look weak. Just like Obama. Another paper tiger. Does that mean a prolonged conflict? No, it doesn't. There is no way that I believe that we are going for regime change. The world is watching Trump right now. Like it or not, right or wrong, they are going to see that if Trump says that he is going to do something he is going to do it.

We've used precision strike in preemptive strikes, and during regular conflict.
Drone strikes have been the regular measures in regards to target strikes against ISIS.
