Yeah, how dare the vast majority of republicans not acquiesce to the demands of 29 members who negotiate in bad faith!

Trump will survive this.

It was a shitty bill and the Republcan leadership in Congress knew it was a shitty bill. They wanted to cram it through like Obamacare was, attach the Trumpcare name to it, and when it failed it would take Trump down with it.

I don't know why Trump supported such a shitty bill. Maybe he thought it was his only shot at defeating Obamacare. He gambled and lost this round. He can keep it a short-term loss. If he wants to take the healthcare gamble, he needs to get his own team, independent of Congress, together to craft a real bill and not some shitty Obamacare recycled. Take their time with it and truly try to get it right. Some Congressman would introduce it.

The people knew the bill was a shite sandwich and knew it was not a true replacement for Obamacare. The Republicans voted it down because they wanted to save their asses.

He promised the bill would pass. It didn't. It was Ryan's leadership that failed to deliver, not Trump.
I am conservative, the way Ronald Reagan was conservative. That is to say, "half a loaf is better than none." Pragmatic.

I am totally disgusted by these Freedom Caucus so-called conservatives - that they are so rigidly self-congratulatory over their supposed ideological purity that they are totally blind to the great opportunity they just shamelessly squandered. This is inexcusable and they now own this wretched result. Which means they share the blame for Obamacare's downward suction upon the American people with the moderate Republicand and all Democrats. Somebody said they are incapable of governing. I now must agree. They are just another brand of political hack.

I'm not sure how you can separate the two on this issue. Trump literally called it "our" bill.

We all know it is impossible to reason with some of these Trumpkins.

First. I still don't understand the rush to pass something. Wasn't the shady way the dems rushed Obamacare part of the problem?

Second, It is Ryan's failure. He runs the House and he couldn't get a bill passed. Doesn't mean it isn't also Trumps failure but he doesn't actually run the House.

Third, Also the fault of the House because the ALREADY passed a fake bill to send to Obama. Same with the Senate. Both are filled with cowards unwilling to pass the bill they already passed.

Folks love to pile on Trump but the guy has been in office less than 90 days. Both houses already had a fracking bill passed. They are the ones with the heap of blame. This argument is bolstered further by them just giving up. Uh, guys you still have almost 2 years til the next election. They are giving up because they are as spineless with a Repub President as they were with Obama. Sickening.

They realize the simple fact. They can't cut cost without removing preexisting conditions. Can't cut cost without going against Big Pharma. Can't cut cost without removing the subsidy. Can't cut cost without removing 20 million freeloaders. Baffles me they are afraid to knock off 20 million freeloaders who haven't voted Repub ever. Who cares what the media reports. Not like the media has reported a positive conservative story in 20 years.

Whether he was promised the White House after a plan to overthrow President Trump or a percentage of the millions per month Obama makes from Obamacare royalties, Paul Ryan is a traitor to America."
