Not surprised UK and France isn't helping - my guess it is due to all the Muslims from Iran who live in those two countries. Could be wrong
I hadn't thought of that.
The weird thing is that most Muslims in the mideast want the Iranian government gone. Iran is the primary cause for just about every issue in the region

Italy "had our backs"? They are the worst (or second/third worst just ahead of Greece/Portugal) spenders on the military in NATO. Something in the one percent range while countries like Poland spend about four or five of GDP on defense.
Italian ports and airbases, plus our bases in Naples, Lovorno, Vicenza and Aviano, are more strategically important (at the moment) than % of GDP spending on NATO.
What's about to happen in Iran is not NATO centric, per se. This is more of a US action ... although everyone in NATO and the Middle East benefits. Except Iran, Yemen, the Palestinians, etc.

Unless they have a lot of AISE agents in Iran that are telling us important things not sure how they can really help.
They may have one or two, who knows?

No, I agree with you about that. It’s become a sticking point with our state department. It's the proverbial "canary in the coal mine" test.
If the Islamist influence in the UK France, and Spain are keeping them from backing us on this mission ... how can we trust them anylonger as nuclear powers, especially the UK?
To put it another way ...
If we're going into Iran to prevent them from enriching uranium to use to build nuclear weapons ... then what do we do with a nuclear armed UK and France under Islamist control?
We're racing towards that dilemma in a hurry.

The Iranian people are in no way responsible for the shite they have had to endure for the past half century.
bullshite. The Iranian people are who put this regime in power and continue to prop them up. There are tens of millions of Iranians that support the regime.
I have no sympathy for their buyers remorse.

Putin delayed the start of his special operation against Ukraine at the request of China until their Olympics were finished. I think yesterday was the 4th anniversary of the special operation.

Russia made this same type deal with China before moving into Ukraine. It was very obvious that was what Russia was waiting for.
It makes lots of sense to not start a war when you have many citizens from all countries attending an event like the Olympics.

FWIW, in case you are unaware, the UK and Spain have cut us off. France is being coy.
