You forget that they did go after healthcare in the 90's?

Well, Obama was the kiss of death in Kentucky.

She should have answered, yes. Everyone already just assumes she did?

Exactly. Just admit it and then ramble on about how she disagrees with his current policies and how he's handled things. Shady behavior like hers is a huge red flag.

I would have said some bullshite, like, "I voted for candidate Obama, and he hasn't shown up to the job yet. President Obama looks nothing like candidate Obama. I can assure you, Candidate Grimes is going to Senator Grimes. What you see is what you get. I'm not a weak empty suit. I'm ready to get my hands dirty and take on the President ".

I think something along those lines would have been much better.

the only issue is if she voted for Obama twice, then we all know the next question

And Obama would have made sure the DNC funds are immediately cut off. I don't have much, if any, respect for someone who doesn't own up to their past.

Wow. I watched that with every expectation of coming back and calling her horrible, but she actually did that very well.

So, she deflected, obfuscated, and refused to answer a very simple question in a competently political way.

Nice

I mean, she knows her answer will make it obvious that she did vote for him, but that being the case, her answer was solid. But I take your point.

Mitch campaign is loving this. I see commercials being plastered all over Kentucky with her stumbling. It is the same canned message from her. She tries to dance around question.

"I respect the sanctity of the ballot box!"

That is rich coming from a democrat.

Dude, is there even any debate that if Clinton had been president from 2000 to 2016 that things wouldn't be better? Granted, that's not saying much, but still.

Yes there is. The tech bubble ended as he left so the sham of him having anything to do with things going well in the late 90's was already burst for those who pay attention. His admin was a fricking disaster on the scale of obama's until the Republicans took Congress.

He also had shitheads like jamie gorelick in positions of influence, which contributed mightily to 9/11

Dumbass doesn't realize that her non-answer is a more damning answer than a simple 'yes' would have been.

I have not seen the video but supposedly some people that works for her said she said some pretty bad things about the coal industry even though she has been saying she supports it. They were saying was lying about all of it. Not sure if true but I did hear it on the radio.

Here's the scary part. She might win.

Back in the spring I thought there was no way she would come close. Now some polls have her leading, and McConnell and other ads attacking her are only trying to tie her to Obama. It doesn't look good.

For me personally, I have to vote for McConnell, but I wish I had another choice.

I could see him losing, which of course would be a loss for normal America at this point.

He will not lose. Not with this out. If there is video of her with a hint on anti coal as a previous said, then she is finished.

She's is obviously anti coal, doesn't seem to be making that much of a difference. She supported Obama's war on coal and she is still neck and neck.

Coal isn't that big of an issue across most of the state anymore since there are fewer and fewer coal jobs.

That poll was taken several days ago. I am guessing majority polled were in Fayette and Jefferson Co. Obama has an extreme low approval rating in KY, she is painted as a supporter of him. I saw today reporters are still hounding her on the @did you vote for Obama" question and she still refuses to answer it.

IMHO, Mitch wins by 10 points.
