"We need them, Americans won't do those jobs!"

I've repeatedly heard this, but it simply isn't true.
I was visiting a buddy today around lunch time. His neighbor is adding a huge addition to his house. As I drove by, the crew of 15 to 20 was all out front having lunch. There was only one dude that looked hispanic, the rest were all white.
Perhaps it was a bunch of illegal canucks, but I suspect they were all Americans. The lie the big builders spread that there are no Americans to do the job is lie. They are there, though there may be a need to bring the next generation back up to par with the required skills since the last 15-20 years most of those jobs were going to illegal Mexicans and later, a bunch of other Central American illegals.
As both the government and self deportations continue to rise, Americans will have to fill the gap. We built houses before the influx, we'll build them after they are gone.
Besides, if you watch any of the home inspector Youtube channels, you would want those illegal crews anywhere near your house.
