I can’t believe people tend to look unfairly on blatant ethnic cleansing. One can argue that the Gazans and Hezbollah brought this upon themselves, but there is no mistaking the absolutely brutal dismantling of civilian infrastructure in Gaza. The Isrealis literally bulldozed entire cities block by block.
That said, Israel only gives a frick about Israel (which is their prerogative), but they are not in any way a reliable ally for the US or anyone else. They have repeatedly disregarded the US and its objectives, even when it would clearly frick us over, so frick them.

I'm on the board of a small non-profit benefitting veterans and 1st responders, where all work is volunteer. We have to beg and fundraise year after year for the ~$200,000 a year we raise, all of which goes to the cause.
Meanwhile politician X's son/daughter/sister starts one, gets millions a year to pay themselves and buddies 6 or 7 figure salaries with less than 5% of money actually being used for stated purpose.
Infuriating.
