I agree with everyone of those.

When Obama and Co. took out General Flynn Trump never recovered. Flynn knew the layout, people who could be trusted and where the bodies were buried. They knew by taking out Flynn that would hurt Trump badly.

Biggest weakness was having Mike Pence as his VP.

Mike Pence is the most run of the mill, normie cookie cutter Republican you can find out there.

He fits the definition of generic and average.

When you're complaining about him at this point, that's like complaining about the deck chairs not being arranged right on the sinking titanic while it takes on water.

Was the guy that sleeps with his daughter, at least personnel wise.

That's because he capped the SALT credit.

Why should you pay less Federal Income Taxes because you CHOOSE to live in a high tax state?

Hopefully, you will answer why you are special.

Yes, Desantis political experience will help him, no doubt.

It requires great skill to thread the needle in that political snakepit that is DC. It’s almost like becoming Godfather.

It is the ultimate test of one’s political administration skill. I don’t know if Desantis has it, I’m not sure anyone can have it and do the things we would like, but I’m willing to find out.

There are some Republicans I would not vote for: Nikki Haley, for example. But I don’t know why any republican or Republican leaning person wouldn’t vote for Desantis.

He underestimated the strength of the swamp and the means they would go to to protect their power

Trump is going to be 78 years old in 2024, four years older, likely much less sharper and less cognitive.

When you get to be that age, you're pretty much set in stone with your behavior, personality, how you operate and go about your daily life and it's extremely unlikely any change in your behavioral patterns is happening, if even such a thing is possible.

And that's further compounded by the fact that Donald Trump is one of the most stubborn human beings alive.

Do you really want to run *THAT* same guy for the third presidential election in a row?

Or do you want fresh and new blood with a 4 decades younger candidate with basically the same platform?

It's Trump or Desantis for me, but you make a good point. Trump has a huge following though, and you have to have his supporters to win.

Yep and to me that is all wrapped up in how he handled Covid. He was doing rallies with Kemp while the Georgia mail in crap was being decided. Just a mess.

Bad talent scout. End of story. Hired so many swamp folks and never seemed to figure it out.

IMO Trump should turn over the reins to DeSantis. But I don't think he will, his ego won't let him. If Trump is the nominee, I will support him, and pray that he has learned from his mistakes. At the same time, I think DeSantis could win, I don't know if Trump could simply because of the hate that the swamp and leftists have for him.

You said you prospered under his tax cuts. I pointed out that we did not. I’m not sure what your angle is besides being a cocksucker.
