I think it was about 1982. My 7th grade geometry teacher was telling me how Ronald Reagan wanted nuclear war. We had almost daily arguments since then, as my father had taught me to think for myself.

It was a slow progression during the W administration. His galvanizing of the citizenry after 9/11 really impressed me. I can't say exactly when it happened but it was in W's second term that the MSM converted me.
I was tired of how they always sainted every democratic politician even for wiping their arse correctly, but bludgeoned every Republican for literally everything even when it was something obviously good for America that said Republican had spoken or done.
Up until that point I considered myself a moderate liberal but honestly I had entered the workforce by then, was paying taxes, and was already listing to the right anyway.
