quote:That is well known. Tarrio visited the White House on December 12th when he was in town for a Stop the Steal rally.
And hold the front door. Are you saying The proud Boys visited Trump in the WH?

I just looked that up on the world wide web and seent that the fella was merely on a “public Christmas tour” of the White House. No special invitation involved, no meeting with the President or any other official involved.
That’s a pretty yuge detail. Yuge as f*ck. So on this matter, there most definitely is no there there.

I have not seen this. It would explain why they suddenly arrested Enrique Tarrio and suddenly charged him with seditious conspiracy with the others.
He is a listed in court documents as an FBI informant; so if he visited Trump it is entrapment.
Are they so sure of no justice ever for the swamp that they use a man that is a known FBI informant? C'Mon Man!

This country needs to divorce. It’s time. Ray Epps lead an Eff Bea Aye shell game to blame honest Americans with the help of antifa actors. BLM and Antifa burned cities down. Nothing happens.
It’s time to split, and when Desantis tells us the state is seceding, I’m driving to Florida.

No need to drive to Florida…..the lower Midwest and South are gonna be the homeland for sane and rational Americans….I’m sure in these geographical areas there’s a shite ton more of us than the American Marxists.

Yeah sure. Tarrio decided to schedule a tour of the White House in the morning when the Proud Boys were supposed to kick off protests at noon.
Nevermind that these things usually have a waiting list of several months and require a criminal background check, something a felon like Tarrio wouldn't pass.
Also nevermind that Tarrio himself posted on Parler that he received a last minute invite. You just go ahead and believe the WH Spokesman.

Clearly you aren't a lawyer. Not sure how a person who has been an informant for the FBI and state governments, which Trump would be WELL AWARE OF, visiting Trump would make it entrapment. Trump invited HIM.

I haven’t been on a WH tour but my old lady (no pics, but money talks) and one of my offsprings did and they had to do no such thing as a background check. Sure, a reservation was necessary, but that was no big deal. School took care of it actually. So I don’t find it all that unreasonable that the boy was just part of a routine tour of White House all dressed up with gorgeous Christmas decor.
I actually find your proposition to be quite conspiratorial theorish, if I may. Which I’m sure you typically avoid. But I never hold my opinion above that of another man’s.

How do you know Trump was well aware he was an FBI informant. And how did it come about this guy got a WH invite or visited the WH?
Who set it up? A russian lawyer like in Trump tower? Mike Pence's aide? Who set it up?
Trump had never heard of the proud boys. So he said, hey Meadows get the militia group Proud Boys on the phone and tell them to come see me. So they can fight for me one day when Biden steals the election.

Are you going to get your story straight?
quote:
The Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers were in contact with members of former President Donald Trump's inner circle, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), chairman of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, claimed after the panel held its first prime-time hearing on Thursday.
When pressed by CNN's Jake Tapper, Thompson said the Jan. 6 panel has witnesses that can attest to conversations that took place between the members of the two right-wing groups and Trump's allies, but he declined to elaborate further.
"Are there going to be witnesses that describe actual conversations between these extremist groups and anyone in Trump’s orbit?" Tapper asked.
"Yes. Obviously, you’ll have to go through the hearings, but we have a number of witnesses who come forward that people have not talked to before. It will document a lot of what was going on in Trump's orbit while all of this occurring," Thompson replied.
The Proud Boys describe themselves as a "pro-Western fraternal organization for men who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world." The Oath Keepers is a loosely organized group largely composed of former law enforcement and military personnel, according to the Justice Department.
Prosecutors have hit members of both groups with seditious conspiracy and other charges for their actions surrounding the Capitol riot.

the gov't doesn't need your permission to run a background check - they absolutely ran one. they're not just letting anyone who signs up into the white house

They don’t go into or around the Presidential sleeping quarters or Oval Office or any other top level secure area. So for what it is, in this case a tour of the lovely Christmas decoration in and on the grounds, they ain’t running any significant background checks on third graders and such. I don’t doubt they do something or another, and no one said anything about the government needing permission for any such thing. So cool out my buddy.

to be clear - i'm not fussing at you
i've been on the tour. you're correct, tourists aren't getting a look at the inner workings. it's cool to see but fairly vanilla. i was replying to your comment -
"and they had to do no such thing as a background check"
perhaps i misread, but the subject doesn't have to do anything to have their background checked. i've had several for work but more relevant - went to a wedding at the hay-adams across the street from the white house. we were all subjected to a background check and a good portion of the staff was undercover secret service
