I don't think TOPS has covered all expenses for everyone in anlong time.
Only the top reward was a free ride.
After books and the rest you were still paying out unless you had other scholarships.

That seems like a decision that is solely based on your individual situation...which is why it’s hard to get people to be against tops.
Personally, a I don’t support TOPS. This state capable of supporting it.

If you add in room and board even the top TOP scholarship WITH several other scholarships will not cover everything. At least at LSU.

The problem is if you receive a scholarship in addition to TOPs and you do not live on campus, you receive a check. If you live at home, this is money you can use for whatever. I suspect those Libtards that are supporting TOPs are those who have kids that are getting a free education at the expense of ALL hard-working taxpayers.
