1. They either don't have anything, and believe the government when they say they don't have anything because of racism, or some other form of discrimination.
2. Rich elite think they know what is best for everyone, therefor it is up to them to tell everyone else how to live.

Because it sounds good in theory, as long as you don't think on it. It's a bit of the Robin Hood philosophy of "take from the rich and give to the poor" except they forget that the rich Robin Hood was robbing were that way because of regal abuses.
Because they don't think deeply on it, they see anyone wealthy as someone who has abused others to get their wealth (because they see wealth is a finite pie, thus someone who has more MUST have taken it from someone else). Wealth equates to power so they want a strong government to keep people from abusing people out of their meager earnings.
To people who think, this all sounds like keeping everyone at the same level of poverty. To socialists, it sounds like somehow magically moving everyone up to being prosperous (again, see their pie theory for wealth).
A big part of this inability to understand is because they have a hard time understanding that others think differently from themselves. We see this evident in things like the push for lax drugs laws and more restrictive gun laws (because they aren't abusing drugs nor feel the need for a firearm for protection, thus those things are simply fables).
Their system can work, but only in very small, specific groups which are usually closely related by blood, and whose individual survival depends on the survival of the group.
These groups are small enough that social pressure is the only system of control you need. People will exhibit great altruism to their in-group (the members of one’s " monkey sphere"). They will work together selflessly for those they love and cherish.
When you try to expand that innate altruism to a larger group, socialist systems begin to fall apart.
Why? Because the “monkey sphere” (the cognitive limit on how many interpersonal relationships a person can legitimately maintain) maxes out in the 200-300 range. It’s only these interpersonal relationships that allow socialism to work and the further someone (or some group) gets from a person, the less altruistic they are likely to be toward them.
For example: if my brother wants a sandwich because he hasn't eaten in a couple of days, I'm going to buy/make him a fricking sandwich come hell or high water. If a friend needs a ride home, I’ll help them because I care about them.
But if Joe-Billy in the next town over needs money new shoes, I might help him, but I might not. Who is he to me? Get farther out and that response can go from "who is he to me" to "meh" to "he can go frick his shoeless self".
A person's altruism isn't an endless well from which they can quench the thirst of everyone. Socialists never seem to understand it even though they are just as likely to have this mindset as anyone else.

Hm, I wonder why the founding fathers wanted a bicameral legislature with one chamber with longer terms (and hence less susceptible to immediate opinions) which were elected by the mature statehouses, like, oh how the US Senate used to be until the 17th Amendment.
Max upvotes. Tyranny of the majority has always been the plan since before we existed as a nation. The industrial revolution, the unions, and the Marxists kicked this into overdrive.
This is from History.com, not MSNBC, if you can believe it.

I didn't realize "Buying votes since 1789" could be quite as shined up as this. Always, always about power. If the Irish hate the blacks, but the Italians hate the Irish, let's stoke fights between all three while claiming we're on all their sides, get all their votes, profit.

When someone else pays for everything you then have no personal accountability for anything.

.......for the same reason Joseph Stalin spent the remaining days of his life locked up in his office checking off the names of people he wanted whacked. For the same reason Joe Biden is butting heads with Vlad Putin.
There's a name for this condition, it's called being 'drunk on power'.

They are converting our country to be part of the one world government. Definitely in the end times.

I think the followers of Wokeism/cultural Marxism believe if they achieve their goal of "Fundamental Transformation" their debauched lifestyles and perverse societal standards will be protected from any criticism.

The average Democrat isn't intelligent.
They are statists. The are the ones who believe whatever bullshite the regime puts out, because they're literally that stupid.
It's kinda scary how stupid the average Democrat is.

Because they are, in fact, Marxist-Leninist in their world view. They have essentially the same world view as the Black Panther Party of 1968.
If you don't believe me, just go ahead and do a bit of study into the political platform of the 1968 Black Panther Party, when Huey Newton was around. It is not very much different nor much more radical than today's US Democratic Party.
