In reality it is because of Putin. Regardless of what his intentions with anything actually are, he’s former KGB and that was bad.

I agree that an old KGB guy can’t be trusted

But neither could an old CIA director like Bush

When Russia stops invading other countries, we can pretend they're anywhere close to the "good guys"

Namely because Putin is a brutal dictator who kills people, including innocent women and children, to achieve his political goals.

Can we disband NATO at the same time? Europe is a bunch of useless cowards anyway and if we arent trying to mass troops and missiles on their boarders its unlikely theyll invade anyone.

Why did we have biological warfare labs in Ukr., China and other far east countries but not Russia.

That should tell you who the bad guys were. Our gov't. Now that dim party is out of much of its power we can start treating Russia like who they are and not who the left says they are.

By that logic we aren’t close to the good guys either.

Theoretically, but NATO has never invaded another country

Explain their operations in Georgia and Belarus, then. Neither have anything to do with NATO

Let’s be real. Cause Putin kicked out the Jews. Didn’t want them to subvert the people and Jews revved up the Ukraine US machine.

They’re not.

They’re an adversary, which isn’t necessarily an enemy. We have similar and competing interests.

China is an enemy we share

Iraq was 20+ years ago and, even though the majority on here pretending to be hawks supported it, it's largely seen as a mistake.

But, even then, Iraq was run by a terrible dictator who had cozied up to terrorists and was hiding WMDs. Nothing like Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine, etc.

The left has invaded my bank account repeatedly. In the name of the greater good, which is a lie. They are oligarchs.

The US has invaded a couple of rogue states to kill international terrorists. Russia has invaded its neighbors to steal their land. Absolutely comparable.

If Mexico was building bio labs and spy centers by our border we better attack too.

We, not Putin, tried to kill Trump.

Multiple times.

Wasn’t the WMD a lie? Also Vietnam with another false flag. That war destroyed our country. Bay of Pigs is another blunder.

Russia doesn't have to be the enemy of the U.S.

American allies should be countries with whom a friendly relationship furthers American interests.

If Russia does that as an ally, then great.

The'll need to stop launching cyber attacks on us, I would think. And attempting to interfere with our elections. And sabotaging diplomatic relations. And sending in cells of spies and sleeper agents.

And being cozy with Iran. And China. And N. Korea. And Cuba. And Belarus. And Syria.

You know...basically all of their current top allies, which pretty much mirrors our list of top enemies.

But sure, if they're willing to renounce just about every top ally they currently have and are willing to stop all of the other tactics, why not?

This is certainly correct.

They would literally have to renounce just about every major ally they currently have before it would make any sense at all to trust them.

I hope Trump isn't trusting them.

I hope he's manipulating them.
