The diversity is localized to the ethnic republics, and the minorities are generally majorities in those areas.

Very few actually support Putin.

Many more are simply tired of our treasure being funneled to Ukraine.

In the end, it will have been for very little IMO.

Or we see China as more of a threat as the Dems and uniparty cater to and ignore China and tell us Russia is the bad guy. China and EU are more of a threat to the US than Russia

The reason people don’t take liberals seriously is because y’all are as dramatic as a 13 year old girl that didn’t get asked to homecoming dance by the boy she liked.

For many of us it isn’t so much that we are-Russia as it is we don’t want our tax money being sent ro a country who wants to start WWIII with Russian AND the fact that we feel the U.S. government, who sent all those billions, is a much bigger immediate threat to our life, liberty and freedom than Russia is.

I don’t think people are pro Russia. But some notes that play into all thats been going on.

The left has told us to hate them. Nothing the left says is good. You have to factor that in. Its all been Russia Russia Russia since Trump went for his first term. Its been so many lies

Ukraine was a way to get money laundering. We knew he’d invade and they used Pedo Joe to say they could take a little bit - knowing that would green light Russia.

Russia said Ukraine was a money laundering scheme. One thing Russia has always had is great spy networks. They likely knew.

We can’t trust anything our MSM has said about Russia for the last at least decade. Our MSM has been a Dem political news outlet to push their propaganda. We really don’t know the truth.

The real threat is Chyna and the problem is our pols are bought off by them. Hillary exposed a list of agents we had in Chyna some years ago and all of them were tracked down and executed. The Chyna grift has been so large its possibly why they pushed the bad Russia narrative so much to take eyes off Chyna. And its worked.

Now, if Chyna is the bad player then eventually we may need Russia to help contain them since the EU can’t. Russia is in a strategic geographical area which could help a ton.

I used to get lured into fun arguments over that with an economist friend. His answer to points about the human factor were usually, "well, then that's an externality."

Just not UKR’s sovereignty! ??

If the characterization of Russia/Putin is the worst thing on the planet, I'll just go ahead and say it: I'm pro-Russia. Pro-Putin is a stretch, but in the last 12 years or so, I think we have some evils on our side easily as dangerous and arguably as evil is you see Putin (Victoria Nulen, Killary, Obama, and John Brenan anyone?).

As said by someone else on this thread, China is closer to being the devil you seek. Putin/Russia are fighting globalism in many ways that Trump is, which is why many are sympathetic to his cause. The real devil is the globalists, and the EU and UN have been revealed to be more detrimental to our way of life, by far, than Putin. Give me Putin ALL DAY over that infiltrator to American politics ahole George Soros.

“I don't believe you. You didn't join this fledgling message board in 2004 and immediately start meaningfully engaging others in political affairs and getting 'attacked' for it. People hadn't grown to hate you yet. You think way too highly of yourself.”

I don’t claim to remember all of his posting, but I can guarantee you that it was unpopular in conservative circles to be opposed to the Iraq war, as I was. I don’t personally think of GWB as a “bad man,” but I think he made the worst foreign policy decision of my lifetime.

That's a weird take. Why would it take a years computation to evaluate a level of corruption? In 2014, the Ukraine was overthrown in a coup, by who? USA, and Victoria Nulen. Then the corruption and NATO aggressions against ethnic Russians in the eastern provinces began. Supposedly 10,000 people ethnically cleansed. What was corrupt about that? NATO and the USA. That's what. Reference "Ukraine on Fire" and the sequel "Revealing Ukraine" documentaries by Oliver Stone.

it boggles the mind why these so-called conservatives love Putin so much
You don't have to love or hate someone to not want to be involved in their problems. Democrats and GOPe said we didn't have 8 Billion to build the wall, but somehow we've had almost 200 Billion for Ukraine and another 500 Billion to take care of the 10+ million illegal criminal invaders biden let in. Let Europe worry about their problems and use our money to fix OUR problems.

And then there are those who have convinced themselves that the Russians are the saviors of White, Western culture.

And, alas, there are those who STILL prefer their $$corruption$$ pipeline to Ukraine (and increasingly to Western Europe) be maintained - even if it means condemning 100s of thousands of young men to death on the battlefield while they tsk tsk from their new yachts and pleasure palaces.

IF there were an inch of backbone, or an ounce of sense, in the Biden/Obama administrations there would have been no Russia/Ukraine conflict - and Western Europe would be funding their fair share of there own defense. WE is perfectly content to watch young men on both sides die on the battlefield than pony up their fair share of NATO defense as long as they can enjoy all their feckless lifestyles as USA bleeds money to finance the slaughter.

Trump is cleaning this mess up and informing Western Europe they may have to take care of their own housekeeping - the Marshall Plan was a magnamanous gesture on our part 8 decades ago, and they've been on holiday ever since.

It;s time they come back from vacation and roll up their sleeves and get to work

Let's behead Christians

This is why you should shy away from your belief that Putin is the most evil on the face of the earth. This is either agents of China or of our own sinister clans. It ain't Russia. The UN controls the information out of this area if you look at Wiki. I don't have a smoking gun here, but I'd guess China or the EU first given their past transgressions.

It’s not pro Russian, it’s being practical. We aren’t going to send our kids to defend Ukraine, and we are 35 trillion in debt. Finally the majority of Americans are realizing that federal debt matters because inflation is kicking a lot of people’s asses right now. So, I can see the United States stepping down as world police, and only stepping up if it is a direct threat to our interests.
