I don't think many people have a negative opinion of him. Most are just doubtful his skill set will translate well into European play. Combine that with his reported transfer fee and his attitude problems and he becomes a villain in a certain sense.

Every post i see with him involved on here refers to him being overrated or how [insert young Brazilian here] is actually better. Certainly he needs to grow, but he has the skill set to be one of the best in the world IMO...

I do think he is slightly overrated. He can still be a great player though. Like Crazy was saying, the Brazilian game is completely different than leagues in Europe. Down there the game is romantic and players are given a lot of space on the ball, which is something Neymar thrives on. He won't find that space in Europe so he will have to adapt.
I like Moura because of his presence on the ball. I think his abilities translate a little bit more to the European game. I really don't know much about the Brazilian youth though.

Rayo Vallecano's Michu goes to Swansea.
Laudrup's going to surprise ALOT of people (if they let him work, of course). I'm not saying this because of this signing (although it is indicative of his expert understanding of Swansea's needs, financial parameters, and what talent as per their situation is available in other parts of Europe), but that he is a brilliant football mind, a motivator, and commands respect as an ex stud player.

If a club hears Chelsea is interested in a player, the transfer fee automatically goes up 15-20%
