Not for me. I have no problem admitting La Liga is better. I said it numerous times last season actually (along with absolutely praising their players).
The problem with Spanish football is not that I'm jealous of it. Or that I dislike their players (which I don't). It's a combination of ignorance towards the league (which I readily admit) and it being presented to me in such a poor fashion. I wish Dandy had a sliver of wm's class, and, if he did, the board would be much more receptive towards La Liga, their players and their philosophies. Dandy has so much he could offer the board. Instead, his arrogance supersedes his knowledge (knowledge I know he has) 9 out of 10 times. It sucks because I want to learn the intricacies of the various leagues around the world. Dandy's self-righteousness really is a stark contrast to the majority of the personalities on this board and it's all because we weren't exposed to the same league as him. So now, as it stands, I find myself rooting against all things Spanish because of him.

Slam, BEAST come on dudes. I know I can be an arse sometimes, though it's usually because you guys take things way too seriously but those last couple of posts were weak as hell. I know you guys try to hard to keep things civil and be respectful and admit you're still learning the game that's all well and good but wtf? Use some common sense. Yes, the top two teams in the La Liga are the strongest top 2 in the world but after that the league is beyond mediocre.
Dandy somehow has the audacity to cite the CL as proof of La Liga's superiority? Until the fluke that was last year with the Manchester clubs the EPL has absolutely dominated the CL for almost a decade now. Yes, the top EPL team would probably finish third in La Liga but the third best La Liga team would finish 7th or 8th in the EPL. Give me that depth all day. La Liga is a league where basically two games a year matter, that's why there is no promotion of it because 99% of the matches are largely irrelevant. You guys are blowing a guy who acts like the God of soccer yet doesn't understand that you can't be offsides in your own half.

Let's get this thing back on track. Ashley Cole has been linked to a move from the Bridge including PSG as a possible destinantion. Not a whole lot to the rumors IMO. This is his final year of his contract and at 32, might leave for some security.

Last ten Champions League winners and runners-up:
- Chelsea (Bayern)
- Barcelona (Manchester United)
- Inter (Bayern)
- Barcelona (Manchester United)
- Manchester United (Chelsea)
- Milan (Liverpool)
- Barcelona (Arsenal)
- Liverpool (Milan)
- Porto (Monaco)
- Milan (Juventus)
That's three EPL, three La Liga, three Serie A and one Portuguese champion. Wouldn't necessarily call that "domination". EPL has a good hold of second place finishes, so there's an advantage.
