To me laying on the ground is not nearly as bad as trying to decieve the ref into falsely winning a potential match deciding PK or having a fellow professional carded or sent off.

But laying on the ground is a method of deceiving a ref. No one would call Sergio Busquets a cheat if he didn't roll around on the ground trying to get Motta sent off in the second leg of the 2009 CL semifinal. What Busquets did was no different than what Drogba did in the eyes of the rules, though the contexts were different. Yet everyone calls Busquets a diver, even though he dives much less than Drogba. My point is that the difference in the methods of simulation are not constant, but contextual.

Again, I'm not saying Drogba is innocent by any means but I don't think what he did in that first leg against Barca is even close to as disgraceful as the Busquets incident against Inter. Drogba wasn't laying there trying to get someone sent off or even a foul he was just trying to break up the game.

Rumors of RVP to Man U heating up. They said Fergie is pissed he lost out on Moura to PSG and wants to make a big signing to send a message about their club and he is focused on RVP.

No we spend what we make. We don't throw oil money or shady Russian money around like we are at a strip club when it comes to players.

I guess I'll have to settle for an FA Cup and dominion over Europe rather than 6 extra points in the EPL.

In all honesty it's genuinely sad Arsenal has been reduced championing "we're #3!".

Why? That is a solid accomplishment and one I wish I could say.

shite, if i had known winning the Champions League gave you dominion over Europe, I would have been more pissed about '06 these past few years.

FA Cup and Champions League double is great, but finishing right behind the best soccer city on the planet ain't bad at all. Don't diminish that #3.
