but the US isn't going anywhere in soccer with the mentality that we should be happy with not beating Panama no matter where we play them.

With as many injuries as we had, I'm fine with the point.

First non- big game I watched trying to get in it, and way underwhelmed

personally would prefer they lost 0-5 with some exciting chances.

Seems like we took 3 shots on goal and made 1

If it isn't clear it will be soon- I know zero about soccer strategy, but kicking back to the back line all the time is so miserable to watch

In the six away games in World Cup qualifying prior to this one we only drew one game, won one game, and lost four. Winning away in our confederation is a tough task. Considering we were missing five starters and drew while continuing to shoehorn Bradley and Jermaine Jones together, I would say that the result is fair one that we as fans should appreciate.

Especially when our away games are usually with temps in the upper 80s/lower 90s with high humidity. Not really good soccer weather when unaccustomed.

This is a really piss poor excuse, train in Miami, turn up the temp in an indoor facility etc.

Refs and crowds on the road can be an obstacle, climate is a known factor and should always be prepared for. JMHO

The climate, for running miles at full speed, is a poor excuse, but the crowd noise is a good reason? If anything the crowd should be the known factor.

How long woild they need to train in Miami to become acustomized to that climate?
