There's one camera angle where it looks like Jermaine definitely made contact with the dude's face, but it's clear he wasn't trying to punch or slap him, but just push him away.
Nothing to lose by appealing, but I don't think it will be overturned.

It looked like Jermaine was putting his finger in the guy's face and then the opposing player swiped jermaine's arm away causing his hand to make contact with the face. Looked very incidental to me. But maybe that's just my red white and blue glasses.

Id like to appeal the Bobby yellow. He got ball. Only reason he was carded was because it was right after the dust up

I agree with this.
Jermaine needed to be smarter in that situation and not even put himself in a position to get a card. The same as Yedlin in the previous match. Once you get a yellow (deserved or not) you have to be mindful of it and not let your emotions take over.

What's nuts about the Wood yellow was the Jones was still on the field when play restarted. That was just a cluster frick.
