I definitely don't think Ox should start over Podolski. The only reason Ox is an England regular is because England is terrible. Ox is still a prospect, who has a lot of raw potential but little end product. He should get games that Gervinho gets, but he shouldn't start over any of our wide players, Podolski, Walcott, or Cazorla, nor should he displace anyone in midfield. He's still 19. He'll be ready by 22. He'll be a star by 25. But there isn't a reason to rush him, unless it is to keep Gervinho on the bench.
All of this, plus I think a loan would do him well.

Yea maybe as an every game starter is a bit much but I would like to see him get more game time. I think he has a really bright future ahead of him as you mentioned.

I mean, I think Ryo should get games ahead of Gervinho. Gervinho is a decent player right until he makes the final pass, where more often than not he makes the wrong decision or fluffs a chance. The Man City game away last season made me want to kill him.

I will stick up for the man. I would not play ryo over him at the moment.

I also remember that game. I think he has a terrible time trying to take guys on in the final 3rd. Once he gets to the 16, he reliably dribbles his way into nothingness, allowing space to get constricted in the box. He enjoys dribbling out of bounds, and forcing a corner at best, instead of providing quality service on a cross.

Why would we loan out a player that will contribute and could step in if someone is injured? He is surely too high on the pecking order to be loaned out.

Appears Arsenne wants Torres.
LINK

Would be interesting to add Torres and Higuain this offseason. Not sure if I believe it.

Might just be bluffing to get Higuain's side to come down a little bit.

If srs tho, y?? Y not pay more to go after a young, elite striker prospect. One of the Afro-Belgians, Jovetic, and so on. I wouldn't be furious about it, but Torres does turn 30 in 9 months. And it's Torres.

I'm still holding on to the slim chance we go all in for Rooney. Would be a huge signing.

if they gave him to us for free and paid the majority of his salary i would maybe consider taking him. that's about the only scenario i can imagine being cool with that. luckily, it's BS.

here's to hoping higuain is official this week. would like some concrete transfer news

i'm sure chelsea and us will battle for Rooney. unless ManU is stupider than i think, they'll sell him to a team in another league. should know this week if he's staying or going though.
