I had a feeling this little rat was going to come on and score against us.

Yeah I dont get how these taller keepers are so bad at corners.

Actually, kepa is listed as 6'2 and Sanchez as 6'6. So the Sanchez one holds true. I thought kepa was taller than that.

They are so used to refs protecting them where if they are ever contacted its automatically a foul.

This has been a nervy 2nd half. Not looked very good. Got a cheap goal, and a well worked one, but Chelsea have been the aggressor the 2nd half.

Can't let good teams with good players stick around. Difference at times.

Sanchez made that unreal save to prevent it from being 4-1 and they go down and score to make it 3-2.

Man what a weird game. Should have won 4-1 or maybe more; but a win is still a win. At Chelsea of all places as well.

Taking an advantage back home is great news though. Would have taken that scoreline at the beginning of the game.

Well solid first leg.

Back at the emirates for 2nd leg in a few weeks.

First time Timber has been that poor imo. Wonder if he has tired legs? I thought Estevao got around him fairly easily. Granted left back isn't his position.

Next leg at home and we haven't lost yet.

I'm confident we will see this one out.

They had one big chance to our 3. xg was .65 to 2.68

If this plays out the same at home we are through.

I feel like Merino has really found his legs lately. Has been performing really well in midfield. Hopefully he can keep up that form and we can afford to rest folks (Rice or Zubi).

Thought Kai was pretty good in midfield as well

Yeah he actually passed it to Gyokeres in the box and we got a goal out of it.

We still need to do better finding him but he got more touches in the box this game than he had total touches in Liverpool game.

Jesus might be cooked physically. Our late game OOP structure with him has been woeful. He can still spin a little magic with the ball, but man, he just doesn't have any burst without the ball.

To be expected after 3 major injuries, but it's stark

Yeah that was my worry with players coming back from long term injury and why we can’t give up on Gyok.

Even Big Gabi at times looks a bit rusty. His passing hasn’t always been up to snuff.

Timber seems the outlier where he just came right back in and was a machine.

City sign Guehi.

Just another 85M this window, hohum

Infinite money glitch. They're up to like half of the spend since Arteta has been at Arsenal in a single calendar year

Would be embarrassing for them to not win the league or CL.

City look real bad at the back with all these new players, and their midfield can't slow down United on the counter. Too bad United have sucked around goal, extremely wasteful.
