Idk, but they had Thierry talking shite about how he told everyone that Thibaut was better than Alisson and how England fans keep talking about La Liga being easy when Spanish teams are 10-1 against English teams in CL finals

I miss the top drawer bantz that used to occur. Now some random motherfricker grabs the acoustic guitar and we all sing kumbaya.

Courtois was exceptional

Our front 3 underwhelmed

We dominated the match, but that doesn’t always lead to wins (see the league)

At the end of the day, being picked pretty unanimously as 4th in the PL, what a season

Hot take: I love Salah and Mané but I wouldn’t be mad if we sold high and brought some new blood in

I avoided predictions cause it felt like this RM team was going to inevitably pull something out

Wtf is this bullshite I’ve started seeing on this board about LFC winning the league “during Covid season”

We didn’t lose a game til like April or May that year

Covid hit in late March/April, I just looked and we were 25 points ahead of City on March 8

So can we officially declare Don Carlo the best manager in the world now? The man has been adapting his style and winning at the highest level for 20 years.

Pep has one runners-up medal in this competition since leaving Messi a decade ago. Klopp has one winners medal against Spurs. Yet the talking heads on ESPN and CBS gave them the coaching edge over Ancelotti without much discussion.

Just seemed to be the way the club has recently been playing. They won possession and had some great chances but the ball failed to find the back of the net.

Not to beat a dead horse, but zero goals in three cup finals has to be more than just bad luck, right?

Throw in the draw against Spurs during the league run-in; it was a grind to find an equalizer, much less a winner. Only the lottery of PKs won Liverpool silverware this season.

I'm not just picking on Liverpool either. City was 5 minutes of mayhem from going trophyless themselves.

As fantastic as these squads and managers are, they don't seem to have killers like some of the great United, Arsenal and Chelsea teams used to. Add in the City teams with Kompany, Yaya and Silva, too.

Gundogan might be the closest thing today. Not just his brace last weekend, but the bags of goals he scored during the winter last season. Beyond him, who else shows up in crunch time for these clubs? Origi?

They seem to be snakebit as of late, they’ve had excellent chances but can’t complete.
